Flight Training Centre (FTC) Limited is a leading privately-owned aviation training organization, with its main branch in Nairobi, Kenya, strategically located near Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and the Central Business District for easy accessibility. The school has expanded its reach across East Africa, including FTC Uganda—an approved pilot training school at Kajjansi Airfield in Kampala, endorsed by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
With additional bases at Moi International Airport (Mombasa), Nyaribo Airstrip (Nyeri), and Arusha (Tanzania), FTC offers comprehensive training in general aviation, commercial air transport, and pilot licensing. The academy boasts a modern fleet of 20 fixed-wing aircraft and an R44 helicopter, providing hands-on training for aspiring pilots across the region

FTC Uganda is fully certified by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the regulatory body responsible for overseeing all aviation activities in the country. This certification is a testament to the school’s adherence to rigorous safety, operational, and instructional standards required for pilot training.

Flight Training Centre (FTC) Limited is a premier aviation training institution with its main branch at Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, offering a fully integrated flight training program across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania through five strategic locations. Each base provides unique flying conditions, giving students unmatched real-world aviation experience.
Our Uganda branch, officially incorporated on 28th September 2021, operates from Kajjansi-Bweya (Plot 1318) as an approved CAA training center, delivering world-class pilot certification to Ugandan and regional aviators.
With our multi-country training network, modern fleet, and comprehensive courses (from PPL to ATPL with advanced ratings), FTC prepares pilots for successful careers across East Africa’s skies
