The school is run in accordance with Kenya Civil Aviation Regulations (KCAR'S), Uganda Civil Aviation Regulations (UCARS) and Tanzania Civil Aviation Regulations (TCARS) provisions for an approved training school in all the 3 countries we operate in.
Captain Godwin Wachira
Director
The director is a trained instructor on single engine, multi engine instrument rating and holds an MBA Degree in Aviation from Moi University, he has a long experience in aviation. He boasts over 14000 hours, with a good number of them acquired as an instructor. He is a holder of the ATPL. He is also a KCAA authorized examiner, for PPL, CPL, ATPL, Multi engine & instrument rating.
Catherine Wambui
Accountable Manager
The other director is Mrs Catherine Wambui who is the accountable manager with many years of management experience. She holds a degree in Theology from Africa International University and entrepreneurship training from United States International University.
Kakiiza Erisa
Country Director & Deputy Head of Training
Kakiiza Erisa is the Country Director of Flight Training Centre Uganda and also serves as the Deputy Head of Training, he is responsible for ensuring the effective integration of both theoretical and practical pilot training. With over 7 years of experience in aviation training, he holds a Flight operations officer Licence, is a certified Drone Instructor, and a Ground Instructor with an Advanced Rating (ATPL). His expertise and leadership continue to shape the next generation of aviation professionals.
